Have you lost touch with your “true self”? Do you find yourself caught in a cycle of behavior/relational patterns that create confusion and despair and a lack of connection with others? Do you question what beliefs may drive behaviors that are not in your best interest? As a dual-licensed clinician, I have been trained and educated in treating clients from a “Holistic Perspective”. It is commonly known those suffering from addiction are more likely to have a co-occurring mental health issue as well. Best practice is treating both conditions concurrently. With that in mind, diagnosis is the starting point. How your life is affected by these issues is what motivates and informs our work together. I believe every one of my clients has the courage, strength and ability, to grow and heal. My therapeutic mission is to acknowledge those strengths and challenges and create a pathway forward… a journey toward health. I work with all substance addiction and cross-addiction processes (codependency/relationships, sex, technology, work) and mental health issues (anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, family of origin, intimacy, motivation, transition). My primary therapeutic approaches are: client-centered, narrative and trauma informed…including elements of REBT, CBT and attachment theory.
