We can help…
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) teaches skills in the following areas;
- Emotion regulation
- Distress tolerance
- Interpersonal effectiveness
- Mindfulness
DBT teaches specific, focused strategies to gain greater control and regulation of emotions and to help learn healthy coping skills.
What to expect…
You will meet with a DBT therapist prior to entering a group to ensure that the group is an appropriate fit for you, receive more information about the group process, and ask questions you may have. It is a requirement to have an individual therapist while participating in a DBT group. If you have an established therapist you can remain with them while in our group, or if you are in need of one, Reed Behavioral Health will place you with an appropriate provider. Our DBT groups meet weekly and require a 6-12 month commitment, depending on your individual progress toward your goals.
Why Reed Behavioral Health?
Our DBT groups are facilitated by therapists who have extensive training and experience in group and individual therapy. We offer convenient group times in the evening and after school for the working adult or student.
