We can help…
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a well-researched, evidence-based, highly effective therapy for a wide range of mental health issues and concerns. It is among the most highly effective therapies for depression and anxiety (including generalized anxiety, phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety and panic). It is also highly effective for anger problems, eating disorders, PTSD, trauma, sleep problems, behavior problems in children and teens, severe mental illness, marital, and family problems. CBT focuses mainly on your present concerns and the here-and-now, helping you move from where you are now to where you want to be. It focuses on helping you change behaviors and how you think and perceive things to resolve issues of concern and unpleasant emotions. Most often, CBT is a brief therapy, directed at finding solutions and helping you learn effective skills to address and resolve your current concerns. These skills can also help you avoid similar issues in the future or deal with them well on your own.
What to expect…
We begin with a comprehensive assessment to gather information, discuss the issues you are struggling with and identify what you would like to change. Together we will formulate a plan to effectively address your issues using CBT. All of our CBT therapists provide therapy within a warm, supportive, non-judgmental environment.
