We Can Help…
ADHD is a very common mental health concern. Although symptoms of ADHD typically begin in childhood (before age 12), an individual frequently may not be assessed or diagnosed until adulthood. Undiagnosed and untreated ADHD can severely impact someone’s ability to function in all aspects of life. One of the complicating factors when assessing for ADHD is that many clinical disorders have symptoms that are the same as those of ADHD. These include: anxiety, depression, and others.
What To Expect…
An ADHD assessment requires three appointments. At our first visit, we will discuss your concerns and the issues you feel you are having. The second appointment is a two-hour testing session when you will be given a number of tests to help in the diagnostic process. At the last appointment, we will discuss the results of the testing, our recommendations, and your best options for getting help.
