Dr. Josh Meendering is a Licensed Psychologist. He completed his Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and his Doctorate in Counseling Psychology. Additionally, Josh has advanced training in psychoanalytic therapy. Josh employs a practical therapeutic approach to assist you in reaching your personal, professional, or relationship goals. The adolescents and adults Josh works with are understood as individuals that have their own unique attitudes, beliefs, and experiences. Josh is dedicated to working with individuals from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Josh has experience working with LGBTQ community, people of color, adolescents, adults, and couples in a variety of clinical settings.

Johara identifies as a bi-racial, Somali-Norwegian, Muslim, cis woman. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who received her Masters in Social Work in Massachusetts and is working towards her Ph.D. in Social Work at the University of Minnesota. She has been serving children, adults, and families through various forms of therapy and community work since 2011, and now focuses on individual, couples, and family therapy in traditional office spaces and in community settings when that is more comfortable for clients. Through the years she has developed a practice that leans strengths-based and solutions-focused, pulling from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Multi-Systemic Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. She also offers Trauma-Focused CBT and Complicated Grief Treatment when appropriate.
