Megan is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who works with adolescents and adults. Megan believes that authenticity helps create a comfortable and safe environment for her clients. She uses a blend of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, strength based approaches, and mindfulness practices to help bring her clients closer to their goals. Megan is also trained in EMDR and specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma. She works with those experiencing anxiety, depression, personality disorders, self harm, addictions, obsessive compulsive disorder, relationship issues, or those who are looking to gain a deeper understanding of themselves.
Dr. Evans is a licensed psychologist who specializes in the treatment of sleep problems. She evaluates and treats insomnia and other sleep disorders such as circadian rhythm disorders (sleep schedule problems), helping with adjustment to wearing CPAP for sleep apnea, and pediatric sleep disorders including bedtime refusal and inability to sleep independently. She can also evaluate and help determine the need for an overnight sleep study. Dr. Evans utilizes evidence-based cognitive-behavioral strategies that are non-pharmacological, safe and highly effective in treating sleep problems. She sees children as young as 18 months, adolescents, adults, and older adults. She is able to see you in a clinic or via secure face-to-face visits through your computer or smartphone. She greatly enjoys the challenge of understanding and treating sleep problems and partnering with clients in a relaxed and supportive environment to help you or your child get a better night’s sleep.
